I’m a New York-based freelance writer and reporter. My reporting has been published in BK Reader, International Journalists' Network (IJNet), River Reporter, The Cairo Review, The San Antonio Express-news, and PublicSource, among others. I have covered topics including opioid addiction, housing and homelessness, activism, and journalism. I am a 2024 Hertog Fellow at Hunter College and was previously a 2023 Small Business Reporting Fellow through the CUNY Newmark School of Journalism, a New York Press Association Rookie Reporter of the Year finalist in 2019, and a Presidential Fellow at the American University in Cairo in 2017-2018.

As a copywriter, I help nonprofits and mission-based businesses develop their voice and marketing strategy. I also write a newsletter about horror films and history.

My poetry has been published in the Best Emerging Poets of Pennsylvania anthology and Collision Literary Magazine. My fiction has been published in the Saturday Evening Post.
